About the Role
As a BMS Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of battery management solutions used in Nexora’s lithium-ion and LFP-based energy storage products. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate BMS hardware and software, define safety protocols, and improve overall system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement BMS algorithms for monitoring, balancing, and protection
Work with embedded systems, communication protocols (CAN, UART), and BMS ICs
Support validation, testing, and troubleshooting across development and deployment phases
Ensure compliance with relevant safety and performance standards
Contribute to documentation, certification, and quality assurance processes
What We’re Looking For:

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in BMS development or related battery systems work
Strong understanding of lithium battery technologies and safety mechanisms
Experience with embedded firmware, microcontrollers, and data acquisition systems
Analytical thinker with excellent attention to detail and a collaborative mindset
Familiarity with tools like MATLAB/Simulink, and basic coding in C/C++ is a plus
Certifications or experience with IEC, UL, or ISO standards will be an advantage

This role is critical to ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our next-generation energy storage products.

About the Role
As a BMS Engineer, you will design, develop, and validate battery management systems for our lithium-based energy storage solutions. You will work closely with hardware and software engineers to implement protection strategies, cell balancing algorithms, and state-of-charge/state-of-health estimations. You will also be involved in testing, debugging, and fine-tuning BMS performance in both lab and field environments.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a technically strong, detail-oriented engineer with a deep understanding of battery systems and embedded control. Ideal candidates will have:

A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
3+ years of experience working with BMS in energy storage or EV applications
Knowledge of lithium-ion/LFP battery chemistry and battery safety protocols
Familiarity with CAN protocols, embedded systems (MCU), and BMS ICs
Experience with diagnostic tools, simulation software, and lab testing equipment
A proactive mindset, good communication skills, and ability to work in a collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ISO 26262, IEC 62619 or similar functional safety standards
Proficiency in C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink
Exposure to thermal and aging modeling of battery systems
