Nexora Technology is currently looking for a Hardware Prototyping Engineer to join our R&D team. This is a hands-on role focused on turning innovative energy storage concepts into working physical prototypes that lead the way toward commercial production.
Role & Responsibilities
As a Hardware Prototyping Engineer, you’ll be responsible for assembling, testing, and refining prototypes of battery systems, control units, and integrated components. You’ll work alongside product designers, electrical engineers, and software developers to iterate quickly and ensure high-quality performance and functionality. Your contributions will directly impact product readiness, user safety, and design validation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Building and assembling electronic and mechanical prototypes
Performing functional and stress testing using lab instrumentation
Soldering, wiring, and integrating printed circuit boards, sensors, and connectors
Creating test setups and documenting results for design feedback
Maintaining lab tools and managing component inventory
Supporting engineering teams with rapid iteration and technical problem-solving
What We’re Looking For:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related field
2+ years of experience in hardware prototyping or product development
Proficiency in using lab tools (oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, etc.)
Strong skills in soldering, wiring, and basic electronics assembly
Experience with CAD tools and 3D printing is a plus
Practical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team

Nexora Technology is looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Hardware Prototyping Engineer to join our product development team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building, testing, and refining physical hardware systems in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
About the Role
As a Hardware Prototyping Engineer, you will be responsible for creating functional prototypes of energy storage systems and related components. You’ll work closely with design engineers and R&D teams to transform concepts into tangible models, validate designs through real-world testing, and iterate rapidly to improve performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and assemble hardware prototypes using schematics, 3D models, and BOMs
Conduct bench-level testing, diagnostics, and debugging of circuit boards and electromechanical systems
Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and firmware engineers to ensure prototype accuracy and functionality
Maintain lab equipment and manage prototyping resources and inventory
Support DFM (design for manufacturing) and transition prototypes into production-ready designs
What We're Looking For:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field
2+ years of experience in hardware prototyping, electronics assembly, or product development
Solid understanding of PCB layout, soldering, wiring, and testing methodologies
Comfortable using tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering stations, 3D printers, and CAD software
Resourceful, solution-focused, and able to work independently as well as in a team
Bonus: Experience working with battery systems or embedded electronics
